At The Cookie Blade Co., we stand behind the quality of our products listed below. We offer a limited 1-year warranty from the original date of purchase against defects in 3D materials or workmanship under normal intended use. Please see sections below for each product.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations set out below.

COOKIE CUTTERS/CAKE POP MOLDS/ROLLING PIN GUIDES

What This Limited Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that affect the normal function of the cookie cutter during the 1-year period following the original purchase date.

A qualifying defect must affect the intended use or function of the product. Minor cosmetic imperfections, small blemishes, layer lines, slight texture variations, colour variations, or other minor characteristics commonly associated with 3D printing are not considered manufacturing defects if the cookie cutter still functions as intended and cuts properly.

If a product is found, in our sole discretion, to have a qualifying defect covered by this warranty, we may choose to:

  • replace the product; or
  • provide another reasonable remedy determined by us.

Proof of Purchase Required

To make a warranty claim, you must provide acceptable proof of purchase, including:

  • the date of purchase;
  • the place of purchase; and
  • a copy of the receipt or other valid purchase confirmation.

Without proof of purchase, we will not process a warranty claim.

Claim Review Process

To review a warranty claim, we may require:

  • clear photos of the product;
  • photos showing the claimed issue;
  • details about how the product was used, cleaned, and stored; and
  • proof of purchase.

All warranty claims are reviewed by The Cookie Blade Co., and warranty eligibility is determined by us based on the photos, information, and documentation provided.

Important Use and Care Limitations

Our cookie cutters must be used and cared for properly. The following will void the warranty:

  • dishwasher use;
  • leaving the product in hot water;
  • using the product with boiling water;
  • leaving the product submerged in water for extended periods;
  • exposing the product to excessive heat or heat sources; and
  • improper storage or handling that may cause warping or damage.

These products are not designed to withstand high heat, prolonged heat exposure, or harsh washing conditions.

Heat-Related Damage

Heat-related incidents are generally easy for us to identify.

If a cutter shows signs of heat stress, including but not limited to:

  • warping;
  • bending;
  • softening;
  • distortion;
  • melting; or
  • misshaping consistent with heat exposure,

the warranty is void.

Any damage that, in our judgment, appears to result from heat exposure, hot water, boiling water, dishwasher use, or similar improper care is not covered.

Abrasive Washing and Surface Wear

If the product is washed with abrasive materials or harsh scrubbers, the surface may become:

  • scratched;
  • dull;
  • faded; or
  • rough in texture.

This type of cosmetic wear is not covered under warranty. Cosmetic changes that do not affect the intended function of the cookie cutter are not considered defects.

Minor scratches, fading, or surface texture changes caused by cleaning or normal handling do not affect the functionality of the cutter and are not grounds for replacement.

3D Printing Characteristics and Cosmetic Imperfections

Our products are made using 3D printing. As a result, minor cosmetic variations may be present. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • small blemishes;
  • visible layer lines;
  • minor seam marks;
  • small surface imperfections;
  • slight colour variation;
  • minor texture differences; or
  • small inconsistencies that do not affect use.

These characteristics are common with 3D-printed items and are not considered defects in materials or workmanship.

A cosmetic imperfection does not constitute a warranty claim if the cookie cutter remains structurally sound, cuts properly, and functions for its intended purpose.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • minor 3D-printing characteristics or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect function;
  • small blemishes, layer lines, seam marks, or surface texture variations that do not prevent the cutter from cutting properly;
  • cosmetic damage that does not affect function;
  • fading, scratches, or roughness from abrasive cleaning;
  • damage caused by dishwasher use;
  • damage caused by hot water, boiling water, or prolonged soaking;
  • damage caused by heat exposure or improper storage;
  • misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper care;
  • accidental damage;
  • damage caused after purchase by handling outside normal intended use; or
  • products without valid proof of purchase.

Limitation of Warranty

This warranty is a limited warranty only for cookie cutters, cake pop molds, and rolling pin guides. It does not guarantee that the product will remain free from all cosmetic changes, surface marks, or minor 3D-printing characteristics over time or under all conditions of use.

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a claimed issue is due to a manufacturing defect or instead due to normal 3D-printing characteristics, cosmetic variation, use, cleaning, storage, heat exposure, or other excluded causes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Cookie Blade Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the product or replacement of the product, at our option.

KEYCHAINS

3D Keychain Limited Warranty

Cookie Blade 3D keychains are covered by our one-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects in the 3D-printed portion of the keychain only.

The clasp, connecting ring, jump ring, chain, and all other keychain hardware are not covered by this warranty. This exclusion includes defects, breakage, separation, loosening, bending, tarnishing, or any other problem involving the clasp, ring, chain, or hardware.

Because keychains are frequently handled, carried, pulled, dropped, and exposed to considerably more everyday wear than cookie cutters, the warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, scratches, scuffs, fading, or discolouration;
  • damage caused by dropping, impact, pulling, bending, twisting, snagging, crushing, or rough handling;
  • separation or breakage caused by stress placed on the attachment point;
  • damage caused by heat, moisture, prolonged sunlight, chemicals, pets, or improper storage;
  • lost keychains, missing pieces, or lost hardware; or
  • damage caused by modifications, attempted repairs, or replacement hardware.

To request warranty consideration, the original purchaser must contact The Cookie Blade Co. within one year of the original purchase date and provide valid proof of purchase showing the date and place of purchase, along with clear photographs of the keychain and the reported issue.

The Cookie Blade Co. will review the information provided to determine whether the issue resulted from a qualifying manufacturing defect in the 3D-printed portion of the keychain. Approved warranty claims may be repaired, replaced, or otherwise resolved at our discretion. Refunds are not provided under this limited warranty.

This limited warranty does not restrict any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.
